Let's have a look at the show.

Just in case you were wondering, this is what the Skipton Auction Mart looks like. Picture taken from their Facebook page.
Time to go inside and have a look around.
If you find yourself laden with bags and don't want to carry them around, you can drop them off here. The money goes to charity.

Knitted strips hanging from the railing of the walkway above.
Splashes of colour everywhere. Very tempting for the avid knitters.

It was very busy, difficult to get close enough to the stalls to take photo's. Then I had another idea. A lot of people were wearing the creations they had made. I can sneak a few shots of them without them noticing. Some amazingly creative work has been produced. Why not come out and show it off.

This lady has made her coat, and her backpack, entirely from wool.
Hours and hours of work has gone into these garments.

Now this lovely lady has a stall with her husband. She stood there knitting away and chatting to people as they passed. They are from Stoke on Trent, she comes up with ideas and hubby designs and makes all the kits they sell. They have two boys who are staying with granny this weekend.
Hello Hubby, like your coat of many colours.

These two decorated hoops caught my eye. Interesting that this one is used the opposite way round. The embroidery sits inside the hoop rather than on top of it. Must try that.

That's the end of the Yarndale show pictures. Stay tuned for the Skipton walkabout pics. More to come from this trip.
Thanks for popping in. Toodle pip.   ilona
