The sun is coming.

Hello. In the absence of the slightest hint of sunshine I thought I would trawl through the photograph albums to find some. On holiday in the USA, and the Eden Project. About 17 years ago.

Do not worry, the warm weather will be here soon. Here is the forecast for next week. Get your sunspecs out and slap on your Factor 10.

Here's a little song.

Everyone seems to have got the hang of putting their name at the top of their comment, thank you for that. Just in case anyone forgets how to do it, and if anyone new visits, I have put the instructions on the side bar.

It's the weekend, have a good one. Thanks for popping in, we'll catch up soon.

  1. It may be Friday 13th today but had some good luck. My neighbour has lambing ewes in the field next door to me and one was in need of help; his son came over and we got both on their feet but the ewe being a first time one was disinterested and bolted. The son had other livestock to see to so I kept an eye on the new lamb but the ewe ignored her bleating lamb and bunted her when she tried to suckle, the lamb attempted to feed from others but was again rebuffed. After 2 hours the lamb is installed in a shed with a new mother who has lost her own one. They will bond and all should be well. I do hope we get a dry spell as newborn lambs once cold and wet can die. Let the sun arrive.

  2. Lovely pics. I bet you will be out in the garden and summerhouse x

  3. I've never been to the Eden project, what did you think of the place?

    1. Hi. I really liked it. The plants in the tropical domes are fascinating. It is so hot in there, benches to sit on if you feel faint, emergency buzzers if you need to call for assistance. Could be a long way to walk from the massive car park, need comfortable shoes. Places to sit and relax, eateries, shops, outdoor sculptures. Can easily spend a day there even if the weather is bad. Plenty of covered areas. I don't know how much it is to go in now, it's a few years since I went. Check out this blog post.
I would also recommend a visit to the Lost Gardens of Heligan, which is not too far away from Eden.

  4. I watched a video on The Eden Project, I would love to have been able to visit if I was in the UK. Nice memories for you I bet :)

  5. nice pics, love the one of the tortoise. I remember listening to Nana Maskouri a lot as a kid, my mum loved her :)

  6. I'm so looking forward to some sun and some warmth again - time in the garden and down the allotment. Lovely!

  8. I'm looking forward to the blue skies next week, I'm fed up now of seeing grey every time I look out of the window. My mum loved Nana Mouskouri, nice memories. Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a lovely comment.

  9. You look the same now and 17 years ago! It must be healthy eating and plenty of walking in the fresh air. Love your blogs, enjoy getting the emails. Thank you for the inspiration!
