A quiet spot for a chat

Psssst, fancy a quiet chat in a quiet spot. I recorded this video yesterday.
What did I have for lunch yesterday. I made a stir fry with courgettes and broad beans. When it was almost done I added a cheese and onion roll cut into four pieces. Let it cook through so the sweet and sour sauce was absorbed into it. It was blooming lovely.
Last nights dinner was frozen steamed vegetables with grated cheese on top. Quick easy meal.
An update on the mandala. I've added a bit more. There are 50 small buttons.
I went another walk this afternoon. Although windy it was quite hot. I was pleased to see my friend Karen attending to her horses in the field she rents. I haven't seen her in ages, so it was nice to have a catch up natter.
I was getting a bit worried over the last week or so, only one hedgehog coming for the food. The night before last all four of them appeared. That was a relief to see them. Last night three turned up. Maybe more come after I have gone to bed, the food is always gone when I wake up in the morning.
Thanks for popping in. Toodle pip.   ilona

  1. Lovely chat, your meals look delicious. They look so filling and light. So healthy. The more you add to your artwork the better it looks. You have a keen eye on when to add and when it’s complete.

  2. The art project is pretty. At first I thought it was "free standing," i.e a piece inside the hoop, but now it seems it's on one of your pieces of black fabric so could go even larger. What is it's present radius? If I were a customer, ( at your cat stall, ) I would buy it at this stage. Very pretty.

    1. It's for hanging on the wall. It's nine and a half inches across. Almost finished but not for sale. It wouldn't sell on the stall because I would want £45 for it.

  3. The cheese and onion rolls really are tasty. Your artwork is so colourful and well done. I wish I had some sort of creative talent. Nick

    1. I used to eat the cheese and onion rolls cold straight from the fridge. They taste much better warmed up in a pan with stir fry vegetables. The meat eaters could do the same thing with sausage rolls, or even pork pies.
