Bug Hotels

Oooops, I thought I had posted this, it got lost in the drafts folder. It's from a walk I did on the North Bank, from Hull to the Siemens Factory where they make wind turbines. These bug hotels are on the footpath near to the main entrance. What a good idea, don't they look cute.
You can read up about them here.
It's been very windy today.
Crafty Club was fun, the ladies laughed at my whacky sense of humour.
The plumber came at 12.30, and now I have a brand new cistern in my downstairs lavvy. Now I've got to clean up the mess, and put things back as they were.
The sun is out now, so I'm going to grab the opportunity to do a village walk.
Thanks for popping in. We'll catch up tomorrow. Toodle pip.   ilona

  1. Lovely bug homes. I know you are happy to have everything functioning as it should be. Sounds like a very productive day. I have had a productive day traveling down the road about one and a half hour one way. Played and smiled with those sweethearts. Then traveled back home. Dinner, Father Brown on the television and then some reading before bedtime. I have several jobs on my list to be checked off tomorrow. Sleep tight mother lots to do!

    1. Bug homes seem to be a trend, they are popping up all over the place. I like to fit in several small jobs around the home. Can't stick at one big job for hours on end. Would be bored. Mix it up. You seem to have found the right formula for your life.
