Colin Thackery is a winner.

Got to share this. Get your hankies out. 89 year old Colin Thackery captured the hearts of the nation and was crowned BGT 2019 winner. Here's all of his Britain's Got Talent performances. What a lovely voice he has. Even if you don't click on my videos, you'll have a treat if you click on this.



And the moment he was announced as the winner.

    Unfortunately I had not got as far as watching the final yet as living abroad we have to watch on catch up.perhaps in future you could put spoiler alert*** as lots do so those who don't want to see a result don't see it by accident. Thanks

      I'm sorry Ilona I was just asking if you could just put a hint. I actually had not read Facebook or anything else so I didn't see the result. Never mind. Sorry people never meant to cause an upset. We only get BBC in the Netherlands so have to watch on computer when each episode becomes available. Apologies to Ilona and all.

    Ilona - he was a very worthy winner! (By the way, spoiler alerts aside, I fail to see how anyone could avoid seeing who the winner was as it was all over the newspapers and on-line too - very hard to not see!!!!)

      Exactly. If Frances is upset that I spilled the beans, then she needs to not switch on to social media, not read the newspapers, not listen or watch the news, until she has seen the final episode of whatever she is watching.

    its nice to see some good old British entertainment!.Lovely guy and yes it did make me cry!!Im terrible for tears flowing at these sort of things...I was always the same at the grandkids school concerts when they were little!xx

      He sang all three beautifully, Cherie, and with such passion. I understood every word, so clear, and he hit all the right notes.
