Good evening.
I've been tidying up on the Industrial Estate this afternoon. These two trailers have been dumped on the road at the top end of the pond, about two weeks ago. No one saw them arrive, probably came in the middle of the night. They are parked close together. The biggest fly tip you have ever seen. They are falling apart and full of rubbish. The press have been taking photographs, they have used a drone to see what has been loaded inside of them through the roof. It will be interesting to see how they are going to tow them away being as they have no brakes and no lights.
Three hedgehogs on the garden so far tonight. I watch them run about. They seem to follow the same paths. I know where they are coming from and know where they are going to when they have finished eating.
I am going outside now to spend the last hour tidying up. Must keep the hedges trimmed.

So, a member of the public reports finding dumped bags containing animal body parts directly to the police and they prefer to wait for the council to tell them about it? How do the police know that the animal remains are actually animal remains and not human without high-tailing it out there and taking a look? They could have the country's biggest serial killer on their hands - one who has reasoned that throwing a few bits of Fido on top of their leavings means that nobody will ever investigate any further. Good plot for a book?!
ReplyDeleteWell done for ringing the police, and Tracy is right, you only 'guessed' they were animal parts, the police need to take a look and take away samples to test,..... I wouldn't know the differnce between human or not. Norma.
