Battling my way through Jeffry Bog Plantation

Hello again. Here is the video I wanted to insert in the previous post. I never had this trouble before with the old blogger version. I must remember in future, if I have a video I must copy and paste it into the blog post first, then add other pictures and words to it. What a fafffffff.
The next post will be day three. Toodle pip.  ilona

  1. Looks so lovely and unspoilt. Reminds me of walks when I was a little girl, that's about 64 years ago now! Our beautiful countryside. Looking forward to more of your adventures Ilona x

    1. I remember spending every summer school holiday at my Grandma's she lived in the countryside in a cottage. I was roaming the fields and woods as a little girl, still doing it now.

  2. As you say fantastic ! Do you not feel nervous walking alone in case you fall? My husband and I used to enjoy this type of adventurous walking before he had his stroke but I stick to paths where I know someone may come along in case I were to have an accident.

    1. I am extra careful where I put my feet if the ground is not very stable. The thought of being covered in mud for the rest of the day is not very appealing. I have a phone if I need to call for help.

  3. Nature at its best!,All fresh air and I noticed no litter or cans thrown about!.It really is a lovely place and this is just the sort of break that I would love.I was given some out of date bread and veggies past their best today from the food bank that my Daughter delivers for. They know that it wont go to waste and in the dustbin when I have it!.The veg has gone into my compost and the bread has fed the seagulls with the rest of the buns going to the park to feed the ducks.I loved those ducks sitting on that fallen tree!,Thank you for your lovely videos,xx

    1. I didn't see much litter around at all, which was quite nice. There was a massive hand painted sign on the gate next to the bridge which said in big letters, Take your rubbish home.

  4. Thank you so much, felt like I was right there with you! I can't walk well at the moment (Parkinsons) so this was a real treat.

    1. Have you any mobility assistance walkers to help you. I see elderly people with a push along, a frame on wheels.
