Where shall we go?

 Good morning Looks like it has rained all night, and the wind is whipping through the trees at the back of the garden. Here we go again, hang onto your hats. 

Are you filling up your diary with things to do this summer? Let's make it a bumper year for going out. Begone doom and gloom, we need a cure for the summer time blues. I will be adding a few dates here of things to do, places to go, mainly around the Midlands and Northern areas of the country. 

Who used to fly a kite as a kid? Let's head to Bridlington in May for the Kite Festival. Here is a link to the web site so you can check it out. Why not try camping for the weekend, or book yourself into a hotel. 17th and 18th of May 2025. Free day out. 

Take a ride on the land train between Sewerby and Bridlington. Or, it's easy to walk between the two places. Stunning scenery. Or have a day at Sewerby Hall. Check out the Whats On page.

I did the shopping yesterday, Aldi and The Range, and Home Bargains. First paid a couple of bills at the Post Office. Utilities gas and electric, and a water bill. 

I had an email from Dan and Stephen. They have recorded more videos of their time in Yorkshire and will be releasing them over the next few weeks. They are now in their work mode somewhere around the Watford area. This is the pattern of their life. Film as much as they can in a short period of time, then spend a month or two earning some money. 

Coffee drunk, cats fed, birds fed, now I must make a plan for the day ahead.
