Excuse me

Erm...excuse me Oscar. You know when I said you could move in, I didn't mean that you could do exactly as you like. There are house rules you know, and as a newcomer I expect you to abide by them. The first one is that my chair is definitely off limits to cats. No the cushions are not there to make it more comfortable for you to snooze on, they are for me to relax and chill out while I am watching my favourite yoootooob channels. I'm just going into the kitchen to make my dinner, and I want you to go and lie on your own chair before I come back.
Still there, oh alright then, I will manage with the smaller less comfortable chair. I know my place. The things I do for these cats.   ilona

  1. That Oscar is such a cheeky monkey! My lovely lily likes to lay across the bed and is usually comfy before I get there-when I try to get in I don't like to disturb her so end up uncomfortably close to the edge of the bed.Eventually she does kindly make a little more space for me though x

  6. You should know Ilona, you never own a cat - they own you - you are their slave and they will do just as they please - ha ha

  7. Polly insists the only chair she can sit on is mine, preferably when I've just got up to make a cuppa or pop to the loo. I'm afraid she gets moved because the chair has my special cushion. She then sits on the arm of my chair until I move again and then everything is repeated again..........and again until I go to bed!

  10. Dogs have owners, cats have slaves😉 from one cat owner to another they will always find the most comfortable spot in the house. Enjoy your new kitty, he looks beautiful. Fi

  11. Ha ha Ilona, exactly the same as me when I was looking after my niece's 2 cats for 17 months. I was often to be found sitting on the floor on a cushion whilst they had the best seats.
