Here we are on a Monday morning. What a great weekend that was. It finished up yesterday with a chat with a Lady Trucker friend from years ago. I went to the Sandtoft Trolleybus Museum and remembered that not far away lived a friend I hadn't seen for years. I wondered if she still lives in the same house. I went round there to have a look. There she was in her garden. Come in for a cuppa she said. We had a massive catch up chat and swapped stories, and looked back over the old days of trucking. Polly hasn't changed, the same happy go lucky life and soul of the party type. Just the sort of free spirit you want as a friend.
Anyway, I'll carry on with the posts of my three day Lincolnshire weekend. From Pumpkins Charity Shop I went to Sleaford. A very convenient Tesco store provided a free two hour parking. It was a short walk into town. Apologies that there aren't many descriptions to the buildings. I just snapped away at anything I liked the look of.
Well you've got to get a pic of a drop dead Harley, with an Irish plate, haven't you. 😊😁😃
There are more pictures of Sleaford here, from 2013.
I found The Hub, which has an Art Gallery inside. I'll post pictures of the exhibition later.
Now I am off to Crafty Club. Toodle pip. ilona
Great pictures! So glad you and your friend were able to have a good time. Does the soul good to have that time with happy people. Keep on keeping on mother. We are enjoying the ride.
