I cried twice this morning.
A friend in our village had to have her little dog put to sleep. Poppy had a stroke on Sunday. She put a call out for help, has anyone got a dog crate to lend her, and a pushchair so she could take the dog for a walk. It was thought that Poppy would recover. People rallied round to help. Sadly she couldn't be saved. Poppy was her companion, the friend is recovering from cancer. I cried.
I saw a post on faceboook. A young man was taking part in his school graduation ceremony. He had not long lost his father. Unknowing to him a group of his fathers colleagues entered the room. They were there to support the young man. They circled him to show him he was not alone. I cried again.
Dry your eyes Rachel.
I cry for humanity. It is being decimated by those who want to destroy us. Starmer is a robot following orders. Where is your humanity Rachel? Balancing books, figures on a spreadsheet, are not the answer.
Thanks for popping in. Have a good Thursday. Toodle pip. ilona
I think I have let Rachel off lightly here. Demirep (Granny) gives her a roasting with some home truths.

Looking at her body language she is pleading with him to save her.
