Not another one!

The bin men have been today. I didn't put mine out. I have only one bag of general kitchen rubbish so I put that in my neighbours bin. Pointless lifting a bin at the back of the truck when there is hardly anything in.

I did put my green plastic recycling box out which is for glass and tins. They collect that every two weeks, but I put mine out once a month when it is full. I see some boxes left out with only two or three items in it. How daft is that.

We are soon to be offered a new small box, for food waste. I can't see me using that ever. I don't buy food to throw it away.

Some comments.

Whoop whoop another bin, what's one more to add to my current 5 ðŸ™„
Already have 'leftover food disposal units' they are called Husband, teenage boys and dogs, plus guineas, so very little gets wasted
Most councils have had food bins for years so Lincolnshire is well behind most councils. Its handy for food waste, egg shells, peelings, and left over food as it stops the main bin stinking, and houses with small front garden cope fine with the extra bin as they just put it on top of another bin.
We buy food then eat it.
That's obviously a bit strange, but why would you waste money by not eating it?
I've already stopped using all the different bins and only use our black bin everything gets put in black bags and if they want to dig in to them watch out for the dog poo
Learn to cook normal portions ..can't remember the last time we threw away any food ..what a waste

More staff to employ to collect the new bins and to process the waste. More vehicles needed. Seems barmy to me, but I believe something similar happens in other parts of the country.

Thanks for popping in. Comments are closed for the time being by the way. I need a break from sorting out the rubbish. 😹😹😹
