Scatter the good seed

Good evening. I've been out in the fields this afternoon. Haven't had a proper walk for a while because it's been too hot. It's still warm today but there was a gentle breeze, so it was quite pleasant. Some of the crops have been harvested and they are preparing the ground for the next sowing. Reminds me of the hymn, 'We plough the fields and scatter the good seed on the land.'
There is an injured pigeon in my garden. It can walk around but I don't think it can fly. I will keep my eye on it. I might have to catch it to save it from any further injury. I put some bird seen on the lawn so it is pecking away at that at the moment.
Janet is back, so no more cat sitting, and no more tele, yippeeeee. 🙋 Now I will never find out who won the Sewing Bee.
Didn't fancy much for dinner tonight so I am having porridge with banana and blueberries.
Thanks for popping in. Catch ya tomorrow. Toodle pip.   ilona
