Opinion

Keir Starmer
We're facing a housing crisis — it's ridiculous to let land we could build on sit empty and disused. I said I would get Britain building. I am. We're unlocking brownfield railway sites across Britain to build 40,000 new homes. Giving more families the security they deserve.

They keep churning out this same old claptrap. They think it makes them look good and will inspire people to vote for them next time. In truth it will have the opposite effect. If you read the comments you won't find anything positive about Mr Starmer and his gang.
As I drive around I am seeing new builds all over the place. Villages are turning into towns, towns are turning into cities. Green spaces are being swallowed up by bricks and mortar, concrete, solar farms, and wind turbines. They are decimating our countryside.
So Mr Starmer, I will say once more, bullshit, you are not fooling anyone.

  1. I think the main problem is that the housing being built is executive 4 bed types of house (as being put up on a green field site in our town) - not starter homes, which is what is needed. There's something to be said for the old prefab sort of home - cheap to make and quick to put up - and yet they lasted a couple of generations.

  2. Unaffordable housing is the root cause of this , we live in a very small village that is being eaten by the greed of one local farming family , we have no amenities, no school , or shops , only the bleedin grim call connect bus service , we do have a pub but nobody from the village can afford to use it , its for the tourists . Every spare inch is being rammed full of god awful , plastic clad huge houses , that stick out like a sore thumb , £650k for the houses over the road !! not that anyone is buying them ..lol

    1. Build on brownfield sites. Green fields are needed for growing food.

  4. When my children were small we used to walk out in the countryside for miles. I taught them so much about wild flowers, insects, pond life, trees and birds. All the fields we used to walk in are now housing estates. I find it very depressing.

    1. Yes, it is sickening. The way the Government ride roughshod over all of us. Stripping the land of it's natural resources, selling us out to the highest bidder, giving power to those who already have too much. All in the name of money, which we know controls everything.

  5. Once again Two Tier Kier wilfully ignores the elephant in the room - over 10 million immigrants over the past 15 years. And neither his not any recent government is prepared to admit to the ongoing disaster that this represents for the country.

    1. All politicians are looking after their own best interests. They are all on decent wages, with posh houses, boats, private planes, private health care, and have holidays in the sun. They look down on us. They don't dare set foot in the back streets of Bradford or Birmingham without a private security firm accompanying them. They have an agenda dictated to them by those who have control of the money.

BREAKING - Almost 900 small boat migrants crossed the Channel today amid chaotic scenes. Border Force was completely overwhelmed and had to call in five lifeboats to help. It comes just two days after the PM told Donald Trump he was making progress on illegal crossings.

Hotel, regular meals, priority access to healthcare, zero bills & spending money…
These illegal migrants will have a better quality of life than many Brits.
It is an utter disgrace that it is not only continuing, but increasing.
The fact that it is, is political choice.
