It's been a gloriously hot sunny day today and I went out to lunch at a posh hotel, I wore my new £1 dress.
The meal was lovely, the Luncheon Club ladies were lovely, and it was free. I just had to entertain them.
They all went home to try out my best money saving tips, ha ha.
So sad.

ReplyDeleteDid you tell them about the cost of the dress? I bet they couldn't believe it!

ReplyDeleteI wish I could find things like that in our charity shops but it seems I'm never in the right place at the right time!

ReplyDeleteIf sales of loo-roll suddenly plummet in your town, we'll know why LOL
ReplyDeleteVery impressed with the £1 dress. It's so satisfying when you find something lovely like that, know it hasn't cost you much and that you're re-using something instead of buying new.
ReplyDeleteThe dress looks really good, a new career as an after dinner speaker? x
ReplyDeleteThe dress looks lovely. You look very confident strutting out to greet your audience.
