Nearing the end of my 2019 Walking Challenge

Hello. I did this little video yesterday. Me looking rough, out in the cold, mucky trousers, mucky jacket, mucky boots, but extremely happy. Not much further to go now. I left it a bit late to set out, given myself an hour and a half to do five miles. Hope I get back before it is too dark to see.

Open countryside, not a lot to look at, but a flat surface so I can up the pace.

Not far now, the sun is going down, another half a mile.

Just made it back, it was dark going past the woods, but the street lights at the top of the hill were a welcome sight. Back in time for dinner.

    1. There is always a bonus to walking outside. You never know what's around the corner.

  3. I didn't think you looked bad, at all - appropriate for country walking and even color coordinated!

  4. I know about getting really muddy out walking recently Ilona as I'm getting mud everywhere with dogs jumping up me but it is so enjoyable - good to get back home and clean up though-and the sky is beautiful at times recently isn't it x

  5. I love the way you get the most out of every hour of every day.Your clothes look pretty much the same as mine when Ive been for a long walk!.I hadnt thought about putting a sun visor under my hood so I will try that next time, because I bet it stops the hood from blowing back as well as shading your eyes from these beautiful sunsets we have been having. Its my day for pressy shopping today and I dont think its going to be as bad as I thought...Ive made a list, checked it twice...I can feel a song coming on here,lol..and will leave for town about half 10.Hope to be done by about 3 so I will be home before dark.Ive cut down on the amount of presents for the grandkids, quality over quantity as they are all grown up now so I will give them a bit more cash than usual so they can spend it on what they want or need in the new year.xx
