  1. That's made me feel a whole lot better about Princess with one broken leg. You'll be pleased to know that she's making progress with bonking along on the cast, I'm sure by the time its taken off she'll be an expert with it. Have a lovely bank holiday Ilona.

  4. Awww!!,This made me smile and brought tears to my eyes at the same time!!,Bless them, amazing little kitties. One of my friends had a cat with 3 legs that she adopted and also a little dog that was blind in one eye and had only got 2 teeth. They were both older animals and she gave them the most fantastic life. When they died she adopted 2 little yorkie dogs, that are so loved and cared for.Hope that every one is having a lovely weekend and enjoying the sun,xx

  7. Hello Ilona, I can't watch the videos on your blog but I go to youtube and watch them. Today, as usual, I found lots of your videos, but after ages of searching I cannot find today's "make you smile" video. Is it there, or does it take ages to appear? Does it have a special title to enter? All I see on your blog is a black screen, but I know it's Heidi because she appears on the thumbnail photo previous to your blog.
    I need a Heidi smile, can't resist. :-)

  8. Hello Jean. The video I posted is not mine. I sometimes post others from yoootooob if I haven't got time to write anything myself. It's about a cat borne with only two legs, the owners get a companion for it, another cat with two legs. Everyone else can see it so I don't know what is happening at your end.

    2. Thank you for your comment. I will write whatever I like on my blog. You will find punctuation mistakes, grammatical errors, and incorrect spellings either intentional or unintentional. My writings reflect my personality, and I don't give a stuff what anyone thinks about me.

    5. I realise now from the comments that it wasn't Heidi. I will try again later. I had a beautiful long haired cat who we took in as a stray. After having him for 9 years, (he was an adult when we took him in, maybe three years old,) he developed a rare form of cancer in the top of his front leg. He had the leg amputated but soon learned to adapt and ran and played like he used to, happy and loving. When he went in the garden we always stayed with him. Heartbreakingly the cancer returned suddenly eighteen months later. It grew on the site of the amputation, quickly affected his lungs, and we had to put him to sleep. We were heartbroken. He was so beautiful, loving, and had a happy life in his forever home. He was a brave boy who never let the amputation affect what he wanted to do. We miss him so.

  10. What a fun you tube video. Cat doesn't know that he's missing 2 legs from beginning so he does what he knows best. Nice companion too! Happy Bank Holiday. It's Cinco de Mayo here in Oregon. Finding a different street Sun to get to ⛪ Big deal where we live and tulip farm still open and mall...oh joy for traffic back ups :-/ Happy weekend!

  11. I have read through a lot of your writing and I found gold. You are wise and have common sense. I must say you have given me comfort and encouraged me to do changes in my life. I am not sure if I have expressed myself correctly because I am a swede:-) Anyway I think you know what I mean. The cats are adorable.

  16. I'm little bit sad about the kittys. But, at least they have a good home and careful "mom" .
