  2. It didn't make me laugh. Dressing up animals for human entertainment is not my idea of fun. It's inhumane. That poor little dog in the fire engine that kept jolting up against furniture perhaps made you laugh uproariously but if it did it just shows what you think is kind behaviour, this certainly wasn't. Perhaps you're now going to dress up your cats in frilly dresses?

  3. Dachshunds are natural clowns and love to play. We had one little boy for 13 years and he was into everything.

  4. sigh....to any who think this may be "abusive" (Jean, etc), I highly doubt it. Having had many many pets, first as a farm kid and later off the farm and later still as grown up. Every pet I've had/had in family, has seemed to yearn to be "like me" / "like the family" / truly one with the two leggers. This encompases quite a wide range of critters ---horses/cows/calves/dogs/cats/so forth. On the farm we had a couple of "working dogs" whose jobs were to keep an eye on the farm etc.... and they were not so inclined..The rest all seemed to think they really were part of the human kind. If an animal does not want to do something/is scared/threatened...well, it has been my experience it does not. --- Lovely video, thanks.

  5. Just saying, -- a current "thing" I personally find awful, is something called the Cheese Challenge, where folks video tape throwing a piece of flat cheese at a baby/toddler's face, and post their reactions. This I do find demeaning. Have to wonder, myself, why it is not labeled child abuse. Where would "authorities" draw the line? Tossing a bowl of hot chili in a toddler's face? What would happen if said toddler was angered and physically shoved the said slice of cheese forcefully in photog's face(I assume a parent / caretaker)? Would child be disciplined for action?

    1. Hi Suzy,I thought that too.I only saw a small bit of the video on line,in the papers and I thought that it was cruel to do that to a child. And this is the world we live in..xx

    2. Debi, THANK YOU....all (yes everyone) articles/comments etc I have seen about the flat cheese challenge (I think the challenge was to see how many likes)...have been positive. I felt sad, and I do think it is bad for the child to grow up like this. As you say..."the world we live in"...
