Ghostly !

Is anyone watching Jeanlouis Reels on facebooook? Photo's and short videos keep popping up here. Don't know who is posting them. They are mostly short videos of a man with orange batons waving his arms to guide an incoming aircraft to it's parking place. He is usually covered head to toe in black. Only his torso is visible when he puts on a high viz vest.  He jumps about and makes the whole job fun. He said he loves his job, and it shows. I am sure he has other duties to perform.

Now there are other aircraft shots being added to the channel. I particularly like this one.

And this one.

WOW. Amazing photography.
Stunning.

I took Mickey to the vet this morning. He stopped eating. It has happened before, twice. Each time the vet gave him an injection and he perked up again. Now he has had a third and I have to monitor what he eats and how much. Apparently he has an incurable condition which causes him pain, that's why he stops eating. He can have more injections as long as they are a month apart. If they no longer work then the vet may prescribe a stronger pain killer. He is such a gentle and sweet boy.
This afternoon I set off for a walk and wondered if I should turn back. It was so cold, even though the sun was out. The wind whipping across the fields was making my eyes water and my nose dribble. I stuck it out and carried on. I had extra clothing in my rucksack which I had to put on.
Now Mayze wants a cuddle. She has been out in the garden all day.
Thanks for popping in. Toodle pip.   ilona

  1. I'm sorry to hear that Mickey is not well - I hope he is a bit better after his injection - One of my dogs started last month with an injection for arthritis in his spine and ribs - Vet found out after an x ray - He will require a monthy injection xx
