Introducing Charlie

Good morning. I have accumulated quite a substantial amount of naysayers on my blog. They berate me for exploring different media channels in pursuit of information about what is going on. That is fine by me, everyone has an opinion. Those who look for confrontation here would do well to do their own research in social media, and instead of spitting feathers on other people's blogs, they would be better to start their own blog. I have to add here, that some blogs have turned into cess pits for haters. They wallow in misery together.
Anyway, while looking for information I have recently come across Charles Veitch. He posted this video 15 years ago and now has 528k subscribers.
I have posted his latest video on my other blog, The Rabbit Hole, (Talking to myself).  What he says makes perfect sense to me.
I wish you a good day. I have to ring the vet because I have a poorly cat.
Catch ya later. ilona

  1. Amazing this was filmed 15 years ago. Rings so true today. Have you noticed when you watch older TV shows the politics they talk about are quite often the very same issues that are still going on today?!! Gas prices and grocery prices. It seems the subjects are usually the same things discussed today.
Have a good day mother, some spring cleaning and declutterring going on going on on this side of the pond today. 😊

  2. Hello Tammy. I sometimes catch up on old British soaps, and yes, listen to the chat in the Corner Shop of Coronation Street. How people lived in the 1960's. Nothing has changed regarding the cost of living. My own personal view is that the west has moved away from frugal living and a simple lifestyle, to spend every penny you have, then borrow and spend some more. Getting one's own house in order is priority. No need to buy a new sofa because her down the road has just splashed out on a flashy three piece suite. Be content with what you have, it's not a competition.
