Message From Dr Vernon Coleman

Some of you will be familiar with Doctor Vernon Coleman, he has been a regular yoootooober for a while now. Blurb taken from his web site.
Dr Vernon Coleman’s Warnings, Forecasts and Predictions
Dr Vernon Coleman’s track record of spotting health dangers is second to none. Since the 1970s, when his first two ground breaking books (The Medicine Men and Paper Doctors) were published, Dr Coleman has been gaining friends among patients and enemies among doctors and drug companies.

In The Medicine Men (1975), Vernon Coleman drew attention to the dangerously close relationship between the medical establishment and the pharmaceutical industry. In Paper Doctors (1977) he argued that most medical research is done for the benefit of researchers (and drug companies) and that the money would be better spent on using the information we already have and encouraging the public to avoid known health hazards.

Vernon Coleman, a Sunday Times bestselling author, is one of the few medically qualified authors writing on medical matters without bias and without any professional or commercial commitments or allegiances. His honesty has made him many enemies among the medical establishment and the establishment’s commercial alliances. His predictions, forecasts and warnings have often been made years (and, in many cases, decades) before anyone else has unearthed and understood the evidence or had the courage to speak out. In addition, in many of his medical books and thousands of newspaper and magazine articles he has drawn attention to the dangers of using specific over the counter and prescription drugs.
He has released this short video this morning. Yooootooob have been deleting some of his videos, so he has moved to a new platform called Brand New Tube. Some of you might like to take a look at it. His user name is Old Man in a Chair.
Personally I would rather listen to someone like Dr Coleman, than all the fearmongering coming out of the Government and main stream media. I need balance, information about the bigger picture, so I can come to my own informed conclusions. You can do the same if you want to.
Thanks for popping in. Toodle pip.   ilona

  1. I have watched Dr Coleman all through this "crisis"
    Far more trust worthy

  2. Having read his books based on his younger life as a GP practicing in Bilbury (which I believe is a real Devon village but with a fictitious name) I'm familiar with his out-spoken common sense attitudes and opinions.

I would recommend reading this series if you haven't already.

    1. Thank you. I will look for that.

    2. The Bilbury books were free down-load on Kindle, but they've started to charge for them now. Library might have them, series of about 15. Well worth reading, a series of short chapters about village life full of humour as well.

  3. Well, perhaps the fact that I know people who have died and others who continue to be extremely ill after seemingly beating this virus colours my view. Perhaps the fact that we have been social distancing (some countries better than others) has meant that the modeller numbers are so much lower, after all, they use a worse case scenario and are very honest about that. Perhaps the fact that my city was very hard hit by the deadly SARS virus colours my view - but by and large, I will keep social distancing (I go to work 3 mornings a week via public transit) - I see friends, I do my shopping - I just do it all sensibly and wearing a MASK! I would like to refer all of you to the Youtube channel of Dr. John Campbell - he's from the UK - and is a very calm, sensible individual whom I have been watching since February.
I understand the attitude of those who live in smaller, more rural communities may differ a lot from those of us who live in large, metropolitan centres but I will continue to follow the directives from our health authorities and politicians. I know too many people who have relatives in other countries where things are completely out of control and the hospitals overwhelmed. Just because we don't see this on our news channels doesn't mean that it's not happening. I urge caution.

    1. Hear, hear Margie! I agree, we are near Ottawa and continue to be very careful. Apparently Ottawa is becoming a hot spot, which is very disappointing.

    2. margie i hope you are well and maintaining some since of normalcy but let me tell you as someone who had a health crisis in the middle of this and spent 6 months in the hospital the government is flat out lying to you . I live in Reno nev our hospital made national news , they were so overrun that they converted a garage into a makeshift hospital did you notice none of the beds were 6 ft apart? there were no barriers between the non existent patients? the hospital was quiet, all the time no visitors , no talking, no codes, it was eerie and surreal . The internet was constantly down and tvs always failed to work , most of us were lucky to get a FaceTime call once a week but you know what I never got covid not once .. 6 months in a hospital with overran covid patients and short staffed nurses imagine that . I am not saying this whole thing is a hoax , I believe it was blown out of proportion at the beginning but then the powers that be saw how many people quickly complied. I didn't see a single sick person until the vaccines started, I still haven't seen anyone they just state they had covid ... why is that? if there was really a pandemic don't you think this would be on the news every single day showing overran hospitals and crowded er departments. our governments lie to us , its convenient and they will continue to do so . I do hope you are well and have made it thru this but ask yourself the question if the government didn't lie who gave the Indians smallpox? if governments didn't lie how did Cuba loose their guns?

  4. Now that I've read somewhat more about this person I am quite frankly shocked that you would promote him Ilona. I understand why you might be a supporter as he is an anti-vivisectionist and that is certainly your right - but - when it comes to anti-vaxxers - I am shocked and rather disappointed that you would encourage people to follow him! No wonder he has been banned from Facebook.
Does no one remember the horror of smallpox or polio or even whooping cough? Well, I certainly do! And I also know how valuable vaccines are! Yes, their production needs to be closely watched and supervised and yes, unfortunately there will be a tiny number of people who will be adversely affected because of genetic makeup or allergies. I myself am severely allergic to aspirin and non-steroidal inflammatory drugs but this doesn't mean that these medications don't do wonders to relieve pain and suffering for millions of other people! Should all of those others be denied this relief because of me? I certainly don't think so!
Again, if people are going to view these videos then I urge them to then balance it out by viewing Dr. John Campbell's videos and pondering what he has to say!

  5. I didn’t know about Dr Vernon Coleman, but I’ve watched this clip on your recommendation, Ilona, and I love him! What a sensible chap. And a dry wit, too. His comment on twelve ways to stuff Matt Hancock made me laugh out loud! I shall continue to listen to him - he has been clearer about everything in one twenty minute speech than the government, media and so called ‘experts’ have been in the past few months. I actually feel now like it’s not me that’s going mad!

    1. You are not going mad, Denise. People are waking up. Dr Coleman has nothing to gain from his videos, his only reason for doing them is to seek the truth. Think about it, they can't lock people down forever, what are they trying to achieve, nil covid? It won't happen.

  6. I went to the link, listened for a (very) short while, and decided this guy's a naysayer about the virus. I have many friends in the health industry who have seen (& cared for patients with) this virus and know firsthand how scary it is, how fast it spreads, how it kills the vulnerable. This guy should indeed have been banned from YouTube... for spreading dangerously false information. If you'd like to listen to someone who is knowledgeable, spreads only facts & figures, then listen to Dr. John Campbell on YouTube, Ilona. He's from the UK and knows what he's talking about.... unlike this character you've featured here. Hope I haven't offended you. I love your blog! ~Andrea (retired RN) xoxo

  7. I am familiar with Dr. Coleman's work, and I absolutely agree with him. I watch other people on YouTube who are also telling the truth, and who give statistics and the science related to Covid. People have been fed a lot of untruths by governments, and if they were to have the courage to look at other information, which is freely available to them, then they would be in a better position to understand the real truth behind the lies that are being told them by the media, most of which is government led. Well done, Ilona. Like Denise, it is nice to know that I am not going mad!

    1. I have had a look at Dr John Campbells videos. He is all about quoting facts, sourced from a many different places. I can't find any mention of the effect this is having on mental health. No comparisons between covid deaths and the many other things that people are dying of. As well as the cost to the economy. Watch what happens when the banks go bust.

  9. Yesterday, I read the recent comments raised by this debate and, to my shame, I went away without further comment because I am naturally averse to conflict - a typical ‘just be quiet and let the shouters shout because there is no point in arguing’ response, I suppose. However, my reaction bothered me on grounds of justice and not supporting someone who shares similar values, so I have returned to get this off my chest - that my understanding is that Ilona isn’t denying that Covid-19 exists, or that it has a devastating effect on the tiny minority of the world’s population it has infected. What she is, I believe, objecting to is the disproportionate psychological scaremongering that it being fed to us by governments, medical advisory boards and the media in order to keep everyone ‘under the thumb’ because this pandemic is new ground and no one really knows what is going on. She is not alone in her thinking. I remember one medical advisor to the government, a doctor, saying at the beginning of the pandemic that in Britain we could expect a death toll of a half a million people. It’s been less than a tenth of that, which, I know is still a lot of people. But it that sort of message, presented as fact, that herds people into a certain way of behaving, and it is something that needs fighting against.

    1. Thank you for coming back. I am pleased that you are processing the information, reading is knowledge. I know this is going to be a red rag to some people, but I am watching a new David Ike video on the new Brand New Tube platform. I am learning new stuff all the time and it is fascinating. The more I listen the more it makes sense to me. I can't sit down, close my ears, and say nothing.

    2. David Icke is an antisemite and I am incredibly sad to hear you say "The more I listen the more it makes sense to me".

"Antisemitic conspiracy theories circulated by former sports presenter David Icke - including a claim that Jewish cultists or "Sabbatian Frankists" are responsible for the Covid-19 pandemic - have been viewed over 30 million times on social media, a new report has revealed.

"Millions have also watched Mr Icke explain how Bill Gates and "the Rothschilds" form part of that cult, and how 5G networks and vaccines have made people more vulnerable to the disease."

As I say, it makes me terribly sad to see you promoting someone who hates me and other Jews.

    5. Thank you for your reply. I have not looked into David Ike's past, I am reading what he is saying about the situation today. I have not heard of him until just recently. I think he was a sportsman but that's it.

  10. Then perhaps in all fairness you should solicit the experiences of some of the NHS staff who have been on the front lines. This Dr. Coleman hasn't practised in any way since 2006. He speaks of theory - they speak to reality.
Perhaps those who have already commented and who have experienced the reality of the past few months could refer us all to other videos...

  11. Hi Ilona you might be interested in looking up Peter Hitchens, columnist in the Mail on Sunday. He thinks the government has made a terrible mistake in their handling of Covid but cannot bring themselves to admit it. Notice they no longer talk about how many deaths or hospital admissions only about cases.

    1. I watch Peter Hitchens interviews on yoootooob. I think he is right. In the beginning when it all started it was a bit like the blind leading the blind, no one knew what to do. The knee jerk reaction was to lockdown. Sweden didn't lockdown and their mortality rate was no worse than ours. They didn't trash their economy and carried on as normal. Now I think Boris and co are in a pickle, because they know they could have done it better. This is why they keep ramping up the testing which ultimately increases the positives, a lot of which are false anyway. It is going to be extremely embarrassing for them to backtrack, they are not going to admit they got it wrong. They have been found out about their figures being wrong. People questioned the difference between dying of and dying with covid. The death certificates were falsified, a lot of the elderly people had other health issues as well. They have to carry on with their storyline to save face. I can't see Boris saying sorry. It makes me wonder why they have allowed over 6000 illegal refugees to come to the UK. More positives maybe.

      Delete
    2. Wow! I never thought that I would hear you say something like that about refugees!

Sweden backtracked - admitted they had erred and many people there CHOSE to self-isolate because they felt so strongly that their govt. was wrong!

I fully agree that the UK Govt. did a bad job - and continue to drive you all crazy by changing their minds constantly - but that doesn't mean that the virus doesn't exist nor that it isn't extremely devastating.

Johnson & Trump bear a lot of responsibility for worldwide scepticism because they didn't want to affect their economies (rather than save lives) but I looked at China locking down 70 million people and knew how serious this was!

    3. Sorry, I should have said illegal migrants.

    4. There is lots of discussion in Sweden about what is right or wrong and our health authorities gives recommendations and many people follows them. People over 70th have had special restriction to isolate themseleves, since the beginning of Corona . Voluntarily lots of people follow what the authorities says because Swedish people is rather obedient even if they are moaning about it. Our goverment trust us that we are follow their restrictions, without prohibition.
Swedish people isolate themseleves because they follow restrictions not because we think our goverment is wrong or right about Corona.Only future will tell what should have been the right thing to do. Sorry if my English is not correct, but I hope you will understand anyway.

    5. Thank you Marianne, you explain things perfectly. It's good to read your report. It seems your people are using a degree of common sense in deciding what is right and wrong for them.
By the way, I follow Bjorn Andreas Bull Hansen, an author, you may have heard of him. I like what he says, I like his relaxed style of presenting.

  12. Perhaps this is why I feel so strongly - as of Sept. 11th 9,163 people had died in Canada - where we followed a strict lockdown and slow easing. The US has 10 x our population but their death rate is now more than 190,000 and climbing at a rate of over 1,000 per day. Yesterday 1 person died here.

    1. Margie, I'm a nurse in Western Canada. My hospital has had fewer than 14 cases of COVID admitted, currently our ICU is COVID free and for the last month has been filled with drug overdoses.

The national figures are deemed questionable by many in healthcare. If you were elderly and died in a LTC facility that was quarantined due to COVID your death was recorded as a COVID death, despite you dying of a heart attack in your sleep or because of your end stage Cancer.

Do you know that nurses only started wearing masks when dealing with all patients in MAY due to shortages of PPE. Currently, I get two masks a day to wear.

Testing is a farce, we've had patients tell us that they are COVID free! Well the test is only accurate for the few seconds it takes to perform. You could catch the virus walking out of the testing centre. It takes over five days currently to get results, five days that I have to stay home from work and burn through my sick leave when I'm not ill.

  13. I watched one he did in Aug just now. I understand what he is saying. There is a dr here in USA that has the same ideas. Dr. Tom Reed. I have his book. I have trouble breathing with a mask on due to my asthma. It's worse outside now since we have so much thick smoke in the air, due to fires in our area.I am not longer working at hardware store. Won't go back to work til this all goes away, hopefully soon.I do not like wearing masks at all. I do have a face shield as well that works better but sometimes it's hard to see clearly even though it's see through. Even dr here in town where I go to have to wear googles and masks!! WEIRD~~~~~no fun at all! Thanks for sharing this video, Iola!! Have a blessed weekend!
