Distracted again.

Finish the boot cleaning was on the agenda for this morning, but I somehow got distracted. I thought I would sneak in a quick hair wash first, but when I had done that I had the urge to give it a trim.

Twenty minutes later and I am perfectly quaffed. Well perfectly might be pushing it a bit, chopped more like.
Now I'm going to have lunch, and maybe the boots will get done this afternoon, after I've taken Billy out. It's a beautiful sunshine day.

Catch ya later.   ilona

  1. I actually like the way you do your hair. Wish I was brave enough to do my own.

  2. Good job! My hair is past my shoulders because I'm too chicken to try cutting it myself. You do a great job on the back, especially in that you've a wave (jealous 😑) in your hair. ☀️Enjoy the sunshine and your walk. I always feel rejuvenated and ready to go after walking. Best regards,
    Joanne

    1. Hi. You could perhaps ask a friend to trim across the bottom in a straight line.

  3. Been doing my own hair and hubby's for months now. My hairdresser has commented that I'm doing a good job. Saving around £16 a month each. However, I will be first in the queue when I can get a professional haircut again😀😀

    1. It certainly is a big saving if you can do your own hair.

  4. I cut my own hair too.I have done for the last 50 years!.The last time I think a hairdresser done my hair, it was my cousin when I was her bridesmaid. You have done a great job of yours!.But stand on blooming newspaper, cause it saves getting the dreaded hover out!,lol.Mind you I am lucky cause my neighbor give me all his old papers every month. One of the perks,in my otherwise mundane life, lol.I have been sat in the garden all afternoon.Chilly, coat and scarf on.but the sunshine felt so good.I sat and read a book, that I have had for about 2 years and it is really good and keeps me off the internet.Hope that every one has had a great weekend.xx

    1. Hi Debi. Think of how much money you have saved over the years. I took the piece of carpet outside and gave it a good brush on the table. All hair now floating around in the garden.

  5. Ah this reminded me to cut my sons hair and he likes what Ive done today (unlike a few weeks ago when I made a mess of it and even scalped a short patch on one side :-) I haven't cut my own hair for three years or so so its getting really long but I sort of like it. My sons hairdresser did used to charge £21 a cut. It went up from about 16 slowly over a couple of years but I thought for a boys trim that was getting too expensive anyway so covid was a blessing for my bank balance in that respect...not sure if my son agrees but hey ho...

    1. I think a quick in and out hair cut should be less than a tenner, but that shows how long it has been since I studied hairdressing prices.

    1. Hello. I covered hair cutting in a previous post. Here is a link if you want to take a look. Not a video, but the pictures might be helpful.
