It's growing.

I've been sewing all morning, while watching/listening to videos. A bit more added to this. I'm not sure where I am going with it. There is no plan. The fabric colour is completely wrong on the photo's, it's more cerise. Like a dark pink, not purple.

I want to stick with the colour theme of pink, red, purple, and orange. I think it will be a picture. A large part of the fabric will be stitched on. Some more Suffolk Puffs will be added. That's as much as I know for now.

Now it's time to go outside. Some gardening to do, and a village walk later. Sunny so far but that could change. Thanks for popping in. Toodle pip.   ilona

  1. The new project is coming along nicely!.I get what you mean by your not sure what it will be..but Im sure it will turn out to be something amazing!.It has been a very hot day here, but not as hot as the last few days, which suits me down to the ground.I managed a slightly extended walk down to my Mams house, where my Daughter turned up and had bought me some new slippers....I think she is feeling ashamed of me in the old ones I am slopping round in,lol.Dont laugh, but I have made a lovely display,in my Tutbury glass vase, with weeds!.Quite long ones but the leaves on them were lovely n shiny and seemed a shame to put them straight in the compost. They will only last a day maybe, but it cheers me up!!xx

  2. 17 degrees, overcast, breezy and back to work here in Manchester. What a contrast to lunch on my parent's patio yesterday. We know we have to grab the moment in our country don't we. Hope the sun was still out for your walk.
