Thinking about it.

I see the mass jabbing season has come round again. A new wave of advertisements and articles are urging people to make an appointment. Chemist shops are offering the treatment. Medical centres are contacting their patients to come along to the surgery. They are probably bypassing me, I haven't heard from them. I am on their records as a 'thinking about it' patient.

People I meet say they have had their fourth or fifth, or whatever it is now. They seem happy. Good for them. Some people are getting two together at the same time, one in each arm. Saves going back twice I suppose.

It has now come back to the surface again as a talking point. I have had mine, have you had yours yet? What was it like, any side effects? No, perfectly fine, just a bit tired that's all.

Am I allowed to say on here that I am still thinking about it, or will that bring on more troll comments? Is anybody brave enough to say, well it's your choice, without giving me a load of abuse. I will hold my breath.

Video uploading, going shopping, catch ya later. ilona

  1. I'm quite happy for people to make their own choice about the vax. My best friend won't have it and that's fine by me. I've had 3 but won't have any more due to very bad side effects after all 3. She's fine about me having 3. It doesn't prevent infection or transmission so what is all the fuss about avoiding unvaxxed people? Friends are worth keeping especially if they are kind and supportive like mine.

  4. Same here in Ireland. Ads on tv and some chemists advertising both covid and or flu jab. I got 2 which i regret but lucky no side effects or covid. The 2nd was was july last year. Too many getting sick specily after the 3rd and some have got the 4th of 5th by now. If thats what they want to do good luck to but i don't want to hear anyones vax stories or history or side effects you got from whatever one you chose this time. Phizer are in trouble and the others will follow. The truth is coming out. But will any one or company be brought to justice? It does not stop tranmission or passing it on but yet its still being pushed? I got 2 calls for the 3rd jab or boaster but ignored both oh i stopped flu jab too 3 years ago i am domen with vaccines i manage my health with diet and a few supplements and its worked so far

  6. I had proper flu when I was 18 collapsed in the kitchen and had to be carried back to bed. I went back to work after two week but ended up off work about a week later, as I could not waken up in the morning, I had post viral debility, so spent another two weeks of works and it took months to fully recover. I have had flu since but never 5hat bad, so I get my injection. I have had my covid vaccinations, had covid in March and fortunately was not ill. You must make up your own mind.

  8. Unfortunately, the advertising to get jabbed is very one-sided, with no mention of the serious risks involved for otherwise healthy youngish people (cardiac problems, myocarditis etc). Even for the more at-risk older people the jab is moot as to whether it is actually any use - it does not fulfill the two prime requirements of a vaccine, stop you getting infected and stop you passing the infection on. As to whether it moderates symptoms or likelihood of hospitalisation your guess is as good as mine.

Try telling Dr's etc its the covid, jab, not interested, scans test anything, oh no it's not the covid jab, just given pills for the side effects, looked on the yellow card reporting list and last time I looked there were over 149 people with the same side effects, we can't all be lying! So its a no from me again even though I have other health issues, my choice, hubby has his, his choice. Jo

I have had flu and pneumonia a few years ago and was really poorly. I got covid a couple of months ago, I have no idea where I picked it up. I was poorly but nothing worse than a bad cold. I'm fully vaccinated. Did the vaccine mean I didnt suffer as much as I could have? I suppose I wont ever know the answer to that one.

  12. I’m unvaccinated and have never had the flu vax either. I’m not going to do an about turn and change my mind about this and the constant pressure, virtue signalling from others over the last two years has really stressed me out. I’m not very pleased it’s all starting up again and I’m glad I’m off both the NHS and my GPs radar so that I don’t get the incessant texts or reminder letters. Once your on this particular band Waggoner really is relentless. I know a few people with life changing side effects after having the pharmaceutical concoction, and two healthy
people who died suddenly. My husband and I had the delta variant last year and were not particularly ill and recovered within a week. It certainly wasn’t something we felt we needed a vaccine for. I keep myself healthy and avoid doctors and having seen the conditions in some hospitals would rather die quietly at home if I was ill.

  13. I’ve had all three jabs and I’ve been fine .
No side effects at all. I agree people can make their own choices but don’t spread misleading lies about vaccines .
It is inevitable that some people will have a reaction to the jab. This happens with other vaccines too. The fact that millions and millions of people are getting the covid jab means that there are going to be more people with a reaction. Many people complain about the fact, that they had the jab and still got covid, but they also lived to tell the tale while others have died because they didn’t have the jab.
My neighbour who refused to have the jab ended up in hospital and died from covid . So don’t preach on about how bad the vaccine is.
You said that the covid vaccine is an experimental gene therapy, that is a blatant lie, put on to social media by anti-vax groups. You are quite entitled to decide not to have the jab but don’t say it’s not worthwhile , when clearly it saves lives .

    1. There you go, another Anonymous person who will not put their name to their statement. A couple of points in answer. Millions of people are getting the jabbys because they have been bullied into it. There is only one reason why anyone should ask for it and that is for their own health. It is still classed as experimental until 2023. Not a lie. It might save the lives of people who already have underlying conditions, but the side effects can be life changing.

I am not prepared to enter into a long conversation with you when you don't have the decency to give your name. I have better things to do with my time. We are never going to agree on this so there is no point. You go your way and I'll go mine. Stalemate.

    2. I think most of the abuse has been in response to the nonsense peddled by some that the vaccine alters DNA, makes you infertile and all sorts of other unproven things

      Delete
    3. How do you know it is nonsense? Is it because you say it is nonsense? Some things may not be proven now, but will they be proven in the future?

      Delete
    4. I know it doesn’t alter DNA because I understand science and the difference between RNA and DNA.

I also consider the background of people who peddle what I call nonsense. Reptilian species - as an example - I think that is nonsense and, therefore, I would be highly sceptical of anything that they said. Having said that one should speak out against the opinion and not the person. There is no need to be rude to a person just because they are peddling unproven nonsense.

      Delete
    5. My understanding is that the vaccines used now are only the mRNA type, the AZ vaccine having been dropped. My understanding of the principle of operation of the mRNA vaccine is to reprogramme cellular protein synthesis to generate the COVID spike protein, so that the immune system is able to build a response in advance of being exposed to the actual COVID spike protein. However, that immune response can only operate when the antibodies encounter the virus, and for a respiratory virus like COVID this means that infection is already under way - the vaccine does nothing to engender mucosal immune responses in the way that prior infection might.
The issue of side effects as I understand it at least in part relates to the fact that the spike protein itself is potentially damaging to heart and other circulatory tissue, so generating it in quantity from the mRNA vaccine is potentially dangerous, something that seems to be reflected in rising levels of heart problems, particularly in otherwise healthy young people, since the vaccination programme has been extended to ever younger age groups. Personally, if I were under the age of 40s I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole, and I certainly would never consent to exposing a child of mine to this vaccine.

I am never rude to any of the other bloggers who in my opinion are widely off the mark with their ideas. What they want to believe is up to them.

  16. I am also full vaccinated and had no reaction to the first three - wouldn’t have even known I had had an injection. With the last booster the vaccination spot was slightly sore if I poked it. So I didn’t poke it!

To my knowledge I have not had COVID - have tested periodically and has always been negative - but I wore a mask when in a shop and continue to do so.

I do get a bit annoyed when people say “I had the Covid vaccination and then x happened” thinking that x happened because they had the COVID vaccination.

Many vaccinated people I know have had COVID but no one needed to be hospitalized.

I agree with others, it is your choice not to get vaccinated but with that choice there are consequences.

    1. There are consequences for whichever side of the fence you sit on. I take full responsibility for my own health. Those who have taken the treatment do not know what the long term effects might be. Some of the data that is coming out shows that this isn't a one solution fixes all situation. For some, a robust natural immunity, a good diet, and plenty of exercise is all that is needed. One of the reasons why I did not go with it was, if I became ill, how would I know what caused it.

    4. I understand what you are saying, Linda. We have to cut them some slack. A lot of people went along with it because of the way the impending crisis was presented in the media. It was only natural that people thought they might meet with an early death if they didn't present themselves for the treatment. Remember the videos of people dropping dead in the street. We now know they were fake.

Back then the message was you won't catch it and you won't pass it on, if you do as you are told. It was worded to give the impression that there was no choice, take it or die. Now we know it was all lies. Now people can mull over the truth, but only if they choose to.

      Delete
    5. Roy, Linda is referring to the fact that it was never about health, it is all about control. Evidence has emerged that it was a test to see how easily people can be manipulated. If people continue to go along with it and get all the drugs that are offered, that is funding the next stage of the plan.

      Delete
    6. Thank you for the response. I did not see any videos of people “dropping dead in the streets”. I do recall seeing the people hospitalized in Italy and New York.
