  1. Thanks!I always enjoy your videos!.Although I fully expected a policeman to jump out from behind that tree, lol. Its a cold and dismal day here in Leicester but I am still going to get well wrapped up and go for a walk about 2 oclock,It really does clear my head of the brain fog that I seem to wake up with every day.xx

  2. I was sure it sounded like hens in the background! It's cold today in Northamptonshire but the sun has been beautiful with a clear blue sky. It was good to get out for a walk, better than damp, grey days!

    1. I think it was probably a pheasant that I heard. There are a lot of them round here. That's if they haven't been shot out of the skies.

  3. Good day Ilona. Is that a public park where you walk or is it a farmer's property that permits walkers? It is beautiful there and very private and quiet. I enjoyed this video and any that you do about your everyday life. That's what most YouTubers in my country record just their everyday lives. Stay safe.

    1. The paths I walk here are over farmland. They are public footpaths and bridleways, as marked on the Ordnance Survey maps. I rarely see anybody. The occasional walker, or cyclist, or horse rider. At this time of the year no one wants to come out in the cold, plodding over muddy ground.

    2. I watched a TV show today about the UK and all the old buildings there some of which are 600AD or 700AD. Most were churches. In America we don't have buildings that old and that would be a real treat if you could video any of them. I just can't imagine going in a building that old. I love historical buildings. Here I've been in some built in 1730's. I think some in our New England states where pilgrims landed are still standing from 1600's. The ones from 1492 are not.

  4. I enjoy your videos Ilona. I do envy you having countryside nearby and being able to walk in such quiet places. I have been walking early in the mornings as the beach near me is now increasingly busy again due to the full lockdown. I walk a lot around residential roads as I generally find them to be fairly quiet. Exercise and fresh air are important for health, locking people up for months at a time and limiting their exercise options will almost certainly bring its own set of problems. I no longer watch or listen to the mainstream media terror mongering, there is nothing else I can do to protect myself or others anyway so why be terrorised 24/7.

  5. You really are very lucky to have such wide open spaces to walk.

I can understand people who live in built up areas, driving to a park or reservoir for a walk. We went out today, 3 miles but it wasnt easy there were so many parked cars on the footpaths, meaning having to go onto the road to get round them. I'm not sure how pushchairs and wheelchairs would manage.

The daily mail tonight is telling us we may only be allowed out once per week in the near future. Really not good for anyones physical or mental health.

  7. It does look lovely and quiet where you do your walks. I'm in the city, or a suburb very close to the city and it's too hot today with a hot north wind which plays havoc with my sinuses and hayfever, so there'll be no walking for me until the weather changes.

  9. Hi Ilona. This lock down definitely feels harder than the spring but your positive, common sense approach is great.
