Anybody want a door?

Something else to give away. These doors were surplus to requirements when building the summer house. There isn't any room to add on another extension without major disruption, so they will have to go. I've just struggled to get them out from the side of the garage. When I put them there, there wasn't a fence between me and my neighbour. He put one up so the narrow gap didn't leave me much room to get them out. They're on the facebook page so I hope there will be some takers. I don't fancy taking them to the tip. They are good solid doors. Worth a try.  Wish me luck.

Still sunny here, no walk tonight, I did five miles this afternoon. That's enough.

  1. I have doors like that used as a side to a shed or small structure. There is a lot more light that way.

  2. They look good doors Ilona so you shouldnt have no problem getting rid of them.Lots of people are getting on with jobs that need doing around the house now that they have a bit more time on their hands.Well here in Leicester, some of the big shops are open...it seems that there were lots of people, standing in line ,waiting for them to open yesterday.I had no desire to join them, lol.I am still afraid that I might catch something and I think that it will be a long time before I will feel any different. My Grandson is back at work,in the building trade and has had to take a big drop in his wages..nearly £60 a day less..which soon adds up over the week. Its not great when he is having to do the same job but one hour less a day.So mean while he is looking around for something else.I have got quite a few bits ready for when the charity shop opens and life goes on..with its usual ups and downs!.At least the cats are still happy!xxx

  3. Five miles is still beyond me, but I'm making progress. I can do two miles almost easily and three miles with exhaustion and a nap after.

  4. UPDATE. Doors were collected at 9.15 this morning. A local lad was chuffed with them, said he would paint them.

Give away stuff you don't need, someone else might want it.

    1. Me and my neighbour had a food swop this morning, lol.I took her a pack of sugar and some spaghetti hoops. She gave me some tins of chick peas and a smoothie fresh fruit pack.At least they will all get eaten now instead of sitting in the cupboard.I love giving and receiving freebies! Pleased that your doors went early cause it saves having to haul them undercover if it starts raining.xxx
