6 + 3 = 9

I found a sleeping bag in my wardrobe that I don't need. I washed it, cut it up, and now six pet beds have turned into nine. They are on the village page now.

I have also put on free for collection, two very nice filing cabinets, an inflatable airbed, and a floor standing fan. Scaling down my possessions, things I don't need. The airbed and fan came out of a skip, the filing cabinets I have had for about 25 years. Time to move things on.
It was very cold this morning so I haven't been out. The wind has dropped now so I will go out after I have had my dinner.
Thanks for popping in. We'll catch up soon. Toodle pip.   ilona

  1. I think I should be doing what you are doing scaling your things, trouble is I always find something else to do like gardening or crocheting, I have so many things I dont really want but still find it hard to get rid of them.

  2. Once again, I am thrilled to see the pet beds! I bet those sell easily. It's a great feeling to get rid of unused items and free up space.

  3. Turning a second hand sleeping bag from an item destined for landfill to useful items is amazing. Have you seen Vintagevixon's craftisism banners. I like the idea and would thrilled if I was out walking about and came across one.

  4. Missed your yesterday post so I'm glad someone told you what those 'great ol' planes are! See them over East Suffolk occasionally - can hear them coming from far away

  5. I do wish that I lived nearer to you because I would buy 5 of your beds for my fur babies. They are just the sort of thing my cats would sit on for hours and great that they are washable too.I hope that you managed to get rid of your excess stuff.Suddenly, round where I live people are starting to put out good quality stuff, still with plenty of life left in them and Ive picked up a few bits myself, whilst also putting out stuff of my own.A few days ago,I saw a man helping a lady move a settee from his house to hers!.It seems as though we are all exchanging stuff from our houses!.I managed to save a brand new lamp shade with unicorns and rainbows on it and my grown up grandaughter loved it!.It is now hanging in her bedroom!.Im loving how stuff is being recycled and reused.xx

  6. Where I live the local councils are asking residents to put a table outside on Tuesdays each week of any items they don't want for free to collect. The idea is to recycle as much as possible to avoid it going to the tip and help everyone out at the same time. Think it starts next week. Items must be kept in a box for 3 days before putting out due to Covid. Hope it catches on in other areas too.
    Love the pet beds xx
