Monkeeee Business

There is a poll doing the rounds. Are you worried about Monkey Pox? 9% answered yes, 91% answered no. There are 718 comments, let's see what other things people are worried about.

Time to whip out the cling film and cover my body from head to toe in it.

They could shut the pubs at 8 o clock again, that might help?

More worried about the cat waking me up at 6am again.

I don't plan on having sex with a monkey in Belgium, but who knows.

Yes, I don't mind throwing my feces at people, but i don't want to be climbing trees all day!

I've always wanted to peel a banana with my feet.

I'm worried about the baggage retrieval system they have at Heathrow.

My son was worried, I told him to shut up and comb his face.

Actually, I am worried if I get it, as I’m not fond of bananas…

I'm more worried about following through after a fart.

I'm more worried about which pair of socks I'm wearing tomorrow!

I've not visited a Zoo for years. I'm ok.

It's bin day tomorrow, must get mine on the front ready for emptying.
Have a good day. Toodle pip.   ilona

    1. I don't mean to butt in but don't go using gloves or masks and excessive handwash as that's they want no need to fear touching a shopping trolley this is Bill Gates scaremongering along with the rest of the muppets he has been caught a few times predicting the next pandemic and he mentioned smallpox not monkeypox and this end last year he is an evil subhuman and also Klaus shaubs same thing predicting this anyone who buys into this one well they are gone beyond hope . YouTube took these videos down but some people have managed to get them up again for now.

    2. Thank you for putting your name to your comment, Levi. Too many people are not doing that.

    3. Anonymous. Scaremongering is rife, that's why you/we have to laugh at it. When I think of all the ridiculous rules that were brought in. Don't sit on park benches, keep moving. Don't drive out into the countryside to go for a walk. Stay close to home. Cover your face with a bit of rag, looped around your ears. People are still disputing the fines they were given, and the parties at number ten still went ahead. No rules for them. They were taking the piss, and they expect us to fall for it all over again.

    4. It's Linda from Dublin it used to come up as Linda r so I will remember next time as i prefer to see a name on a post too. It was the same in Ireland politicians on a golf outing and and a retirement party no masks or social distancing while the public were told almost warned to follow silly rules. Do as I say not as I do. They were not scared of any virus it was never.about that. Wishing you a nice day.

    5. Thank you Linda. I watched this video last night. Justin Barrett of the National Party hits the nail on the head here, there is no mincing of his words. Direct and to the point. I like him.

    1. Do whatever you think is best for you, flis. Never mind what anyone else is doing. Your body your choice. Just one thing to remember, the Government do not have your best interests at heart.

    2. I have only just recently realised this Ilona- I have always been too naive about everything x

    3. There is time to catch up. Question everything.

  4. It is OK for you to be sceptical and cynical. You live a hermit of a life. People with extensive social contacts and living and working in crowded environments have much more to worry about. Its not all about you.

    1. I think you may misunderstand. This blog is all about me. And if you are reading it you will have noted that I go outside and visit different places on a regular basis. I was cautious in the beginning like everybody else when it was all new, keeping myself safe and not mixing with crowds of people that I didn't know. I changed a few habits, like shopping late when there was no one about, and being careful to not get too close to anyone. But I never wore a mask and I never locked down.

    1. Maybe Ratsarsepox would be a better name for it.

    2. Here you go Eliza. It has been likened to shingles, and blistering is one of the side effects of the fffffizor jaberwockys.

    3. Don't give e them ideas, ilona! If they called it ratsarsepox people would start wearing masks on their backsides!

  6. There's no need to worry about monkeypox. It's not easy to catch and even if you did it's not very dangerous. No treatment is needed and it clears up on it's own. People are lead by what they are told, they tend not to find things out for themselves. I had chicenpox when I was young, it didn't leave me eating corn and laying eggs!

    1. My understanding is that men catch it when they have sex with another man. Oh, maybe I shouldn't say that, it's homophobic.

I think your understanding is correct but not complete

    3. No one's understanding will ever be complete while they continue to peddle their lies.

What I meant is that is one way it can be caught, but not the only way

    5. I think they must look into whether the people who have caught the monkey pox have been jabbbbed or not.

  7. The Telegraph issues some important information about the pox. It can jump to pets. Guard your cats and dogs with your life, they will be coming for them next.

  8. I’m definitely not worried and will continue as I have for the last two years by living my life and not doing anything any differently. Yes I was anxious at the beginning of the pandemic but soon saw it for what it was - ie a means of social control.

  9. Not worried. If I caught it it'd most probably be unpleasant but fine. Like many other illnesses. I can see that we are all supposed to be kept anxious though hence wheeling it out in the media. I refuse to live my life in that state. Karen

I'm not worried about monkey pox as I don't have much contact with others apart from close family and friends. I've read that the smallpox vaccine offers protection which I had as a child.
They are also saying rodent pets are at risk of catching it but I don't have any rabbits gerbils or mice so that's OK too.
Sadly though they say it can be v serious to children and often fatal. Really hope that's not true, and this virus doesn't become endemic.

  12. My own personal assessment is that the bullshit will continue. Their income from the jabberwocky is drying up. They need to up the fear, to enable them to continue with their plans of a Global Government. New viruses, new strains, to perpetuate the fear which already exists. QUESTION EVERYTHING. THEN DO YOUR OWN THING. MAKE YOUR OWN DECISIONS, AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR OWN HEALTH.
