Our beautiful Queen.

 

I am shedding a tear for our beautiful Queen. Rest in Peace. You did us proud. At rest with your dear husband.

  5. Same here, Ilona. A great loss to our country and to us. A lifetime of committed, devoted service and a constant. Will never forget her speech in the pandemic which gave us such comfort and hope. Louise

  10. I am so sad today but I rejoice that she gave so much to us here in the UK and the Commonwealth and is a respected and wonderful queen. Let her now dance in heaven with her beloved husband Philip.

    1. Thank you. I remember standing on the side of the road waving my flag as the Queens car passed by not long after her coronation. She has been with us throughout most of our lives.

  14. Such incredibly sad news and a huge loss to the nation. I was lucky enough to
    see the queen as a child when she visited Malta in 1967 and was within arms length of the royal car as security wasn’t like it is today.

  15. I was truly sad to hear about the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. She was - and I suspect will always be - an inspiration to countless numbers of people. I will forever be in awe of how she remained steadfast in her love for her country and served until the very end.

  18. The Queen was loved far beyond the UK. I am from Germany and many people here are very sad too. She served her country with a great sense of duty, dignity and decency to the very end. She will be very missed. It's just comforting that she died in Balmoral, a place so dear to her heart.

  19. It was such a shock but as soon as I heard that all her children were travelling there,we knew what was coming.It is such a sad time and she was an amazing woman who never put a foot wrong.She did this country proud and will be sadly missed.xx
