Check in with some good food.

This is the lunch I have just eaten. I had already started it when I took the picture. It's only right to share it with you. Slice of seeded bread toasted. Spread with peanut butter. One avocado cut into pieces, and drizzled with toasted sesame seed oil. Handful of spinach in a pan and break an egg on it. Lay it on the Avocado. Top it with grated cheese. Oh my, it was super yummy. Try it.
How's the walking going? We are 11 months into the challenge. Are you winning or losing? I am on 922 miles, so I am pleased with that. With a bit of luck and some fine days I will reach the 1000. Now I am going to walk Billy.
Check in with your miles. We will catch up soon. Toodle pip.   ilona

  1. Only 879 miles, I don´t think I`ll make it to 1000. But I am quite content with what I achieved.

  2. The weather has been chilly and sometimes snowy, but I managed to get out every day in November for a monthly total of 115 miles. The year to date is 1,447. I'm hoping for 1,500 miles by the end of the year, but we'll see how the weather shapes up.

  3. Hi Ilona and walking group. Total walked 38 in Nov, for a total year to date of 459. The weather here in the desert southwest of the US is perfect, so the walking is perfect as well. Hope everyone has a good December, thank you again Ilona for this challenge. Many days as I walk I think about this group and wonder where everyone is and what they see as they walk ;). 5. I don't know how far I walk daily Ilona - but it's 1 hour fairly quickly -- no talking - 1 3/4 if chatting - I try to walk up hill to strengthen myself in places - On the rare times I miss going out feel quite down x

    2. I've noticed that if I sit for too long -and then stand up - at first I am a bit bent - I then make a conscious effort to straighten myself and I' m fine again x

  8. Hope you're having a great day. November was a somewhat disappointing exercise month. It was unbearably cold for about a week so missed quite a few miles. Despite that, I logged 70 miles which brings my YTD to 901 miles. I won't reach 1000 miles, but I have enjoyed every mile I've walked this year.

    1. Hello Kay. The cold is starting to get to me now. I have to really push myself. You won't be far off the total. Don't be disappointed if you can't quite reach it. You have done amazingly well.
