Big cats at Yorkshire Wildlife Park

Let's start with the big cats. Here they are, what a handsome bunch. 
It's a lovely afternoon for a snooze in the sunshine. 
The enclosures are really big. Shelters for them to chill out in. 

These two are having a rough and tumble session. 


I watched their games for a while. 


What a handsome chap. Dozing in the sunshine. 

Eyes open watching visitors walking past.

I saw two tigers strolling around their enclosure. 
They have a big area. There is an elevated walkway that goes over the top. You can look down at them walking below.

      They rolled down the slope to the fence while they were playing. Didn't have to zoom.

    Beautiful animals, great photos. I've always loved big cats and would love to stroke one, but that would not be wise!

      Aren't they just gorgeous. It would be interesting to see what they get at feeding time. I suspect a local slaughterhouse would supply their meals.
