Nothing has changed

I have been looking back at a post I wrote nine years ago. Inventing a different persona gave me  chance to alter my style of writing. Auntie Nellie was my alter ego.  Nellie was forthright and gobby, even more so than I am. I have mellowed a bit since then, but my thinking is still the same.

Those that have been following me for a long time will understand the journey I am on. I have a simplistic way of looking at things. Common sense prevails. Back then in 2013 I said the UK is full up. That statement provoked a broad mix of comments. I did accept them from Anonymous contributors, not so keen now as the sarcasm, the nitpicking, and full on in your face nasty insulting comments have been ramped up by the easily offended woke brigade, brought about by the Governments fear campaign.

I see that 250 people were escorted onto our shores yesterday. They didn't just find their own way here, they were rescued at sea and brought here.

Oooops, my mistake.

A total of 444 people were detected crossing the English Channel in small boats on Tuesday, the Ministry of Defence said. This is the highest number of people since 562 were recorded on April 14 earlier this year.

An arrangement has been made with Rwanda that people, and I am being careful with my words here in case I am labelled as racist, are to be flown out there so that their applications can be processed. The aircraft should have taken off last night, but it didn't. That was to be expected. After court hearings had taken place, some of them last minute, there was only one person left on the flight. It was obvious to me that no aircraft are going to fly people out there.

This was going to be an exchange, we were not going to dump people in some far away land. The UK had promised a return flight bringing over here a group of disabled and sick people who require assistance.

Now I question everything the Government says. Do they really want to find a solution for the problem, or do they have no intentions of coming up with a workable idea? They are playing for time. Each day that passes is another step towards a One World Government. Doris, like many others, are following the same plan. Maybe we should just accept that this is not going to stop, and this is the future.

Not much has changed in the nine years since I wrote the blog post, if anything it has intensified. We are filling up at a rapid rate. You might like to refresh your memory. The post is here.

As predicted. Because trolls can't comment on this post, they send me their nasty words on another post. So boring. Please get a life, you are harming yourself.

I have some photo's of the walk I did yesterday and will post them later. Thanks for popping in. Toodle pip.   ilona
