It seems that you have thought carefully about your purchase and in such circumstances the cheapest isn't always better. What matters is that you choose something that best suits your needs. Enjoy your new motor!
PS I'll be going through similiar processes when I change my NHS lease car soon. x
Nice one Ilona! Is the Meriva the diesel model you looked at recently? I would be very interested in knowing how you get on with it - particularly fuel consumption and comfort.
Hi John. No this one is petrol. The diesel model had the wrong price on the web site, it was £7,995, on a 59 plate, so it was beyond my budget, sadly I couldn't afford it. It's true what they say about diesels being £1,500 more expensive than their petrol equivelent. I'll let you know how I get on with this one.
Hello. I started this blog as a way to document my life after after taking a drop in income, and after retirement living on a pension. The purpose was to pass on any money saving tips which might help others. Fast forward 14 years, and life has taken me in different directions. Money saving tips have morphed into a new message. Take control of your own destiny. Be responsible for your own health and well being. Value your freedom and don't let go of it.
