Booootiful

Hello. It was a bit late when this video was finally out on yoooohoootooob last night, so here it is this morning. Talking about footwear, eleven pairs of boots and trainers.

I have just looked out of the window and seen Mayze cat taking a dump on the piece of ground that I am digging in. She thinks I have made a litter box just for her. Now I am going to put my gloves on and pick the lumps out before I carry on.
Have a nice day. Toodle pip.   ilona

  1. Thank you for the video. I always thought about buying boots for walking but was afraid because of the arthritis in my feet. It causes lumps on the top of my foot which is painful with shoes. Never thought of going to a professional to get fitted. Thank you

    1. There are specialist shops which will measure your feet. Always try several pairs on first before deciding.

  2. Thank you for this practical video, Ilona. I'm interested in the paint you would use for the trainers. Is it paint that you have on hand, or would it need to be special water proof paint? I love the spots of color to gussie them up!

    1. I use ordinary household vinyl emulsion, I have some tester pots. I also use acrylics. They are not waterproof so can only be worn in dry conditions.

  3. I love your coffee chats and made my self a coffee just to join you!.Great collection of boots there Ilona.I have very much the same in my wardrobe. All so comfy...although I would have to pass on any that pinch a bit, lol.I went to a wedding last Saturday and wore a pair of heels..not huge ones but high enough to make me walk like Dick Emery when he dressed up as a woman.Mandy I think he called his self and I couldnt wait to get home. They even made my legs ache when I was sitting down, lol. Its comfort every time for me now.I read somewhere a long time ago, that the Queen has someone always wear her shoes in for her first.Well with every pair that I own coming from charity shops it seems that me and the Queen have something in common!.To think of those platform boots that we used to wear..ouch,lol.Thank you for the video!xx

  4. I love the coffee chats. Have you heard of Slow Ways? I am thinking of doing some of the routes on there and reviewing them. I've had my boots for years they're only hi-tec ones but they've lasted me 8 years so far. I do re-proof them regularly so that's probably why. I've got a bunion but it's not really caused any problems for me either.
