Desperate for news. Good for a laugh.

Ha ha. If you don't have any news, make it up.

Tesco on lockdown as police seal off supermarket after emergency - shoppers told to stay away.

Click bait and I clicked. The non story.  A police car was parked outside the shop, customers were being turned away. It is unclear what exactly happened. A nearby resident was surprised by all the activity. Someone said, I know nothing about it. Someone else said, I thought it was a bit unusual. Another nearby resident said I didn't hear anything.

Some of the comments.

Someone seen smashing up boxes of breakfast food. Must be cereal killer.

Police found toilet rolls and were flushed with success

All their phones pinged at the same time

Somebody approached the store, daring to not wear a muzzle and full protective clothing, and then coughed!

"Nothing on the shelves, nothing to see, move on please"......

My local Tesco had a spillage on the milk isle. No word yet from Tesco HQ. More clickbait news please.

It must be story writing for 6 year olds today.

So, a non blog post about a non story in the Express, written by their roving reporter, Oliver Pritchard Jones, who probably never roves anywhere and gets all his stories from the local press.

Looking good outside. Maybe a walk today. Now for breakfast. Garage removal day tomorrow. I still have some pictures to sort out from my visit to 20 21 Arts Centre. Haven't forgotten. Thanks for popping in. We'll catch up soon. Toodle pip. ilona

  5. Some terribly interesting things happening in Alberta, Canada, Ilona. If it is kosher, it appears a man was fined for CV restriction related offence and he contested it, and took them to court where he represented himself, and challenged them to prove that CV exists, and the government were unable to prove it, and so they have had to downgrade it to a 'mild flu', and are phasing out all the restrictions.

Hard to believe I know. Look at the comments after this article on Japan on 'lockdown sceptics' website, where people are discussing it and providing links here: https://dailysceptic.org/2021/08/04/japan-names-and-shames-quarantine-rule-breakers/#comments

    Best, Helen
