Oh dear, it's snowing. I'm glad I went to Aldi last night. It's a Billy dog walk day, I'm waiting ten minutes to see if it stops.
My crafty table has been taken over by Mayze on the new cushion. It's nice and fluffy, she can sink into it. I have to squeeze onto the space at the front if I want to make something.
I put together some scraps of fabric to make a background for a picture. The zigzag stitching looks messy. I fiddled around with the settings on the machine and couldn't get it right. It kept missing stitches. I think the layers were too thick as well which didn't help.
So I have redone it with straight line machining. I cut the tree templates out of cardboard. Now I am in the process of hand stitching them on. Not the cardboard, I chose some different coloured fabric. They are pointy lollipop trees.

The snow flakes look big!!! The wind has been whipping here in West Virginia for 2 days. So just housework here today. Hubby taking or dog out for a few runs around the yard. Mayze is loving the new pillow. ♥️🐾
ReplyDeleteHope that everyone is keeping safe in the stormy weather in the Uk and elsewhere. Just a little rant here - I did a FOI about my local council and asked about unpaid council tax in my area for the last 6 years - it is a staggering £4million. I have written to my MP and asked why - and also that I am no prepared to pay my bill in April as obviously others don't - i do realise that some are not able to pay but there are some who dodge this bill and I am just so furious that my bill will be going up again. Rant over.
